Kune Kune Pigs

Kune Kune pigs are a wonderful option for small farms. They are sweet-tempered, medium sized pigs that originate from New Zealand. Females can average 100 to 175 pounds, while the males can reach the 200 to 250 plus range. The best part of the Kune Kune is that their short, upturned snouts that discourages rooting. These pigs are more of a grazing pig and are not likely to tear up the yard. They have little desire to roam and are not known to test fencing if given adequate space.

Kune Kune pigs are known for having two wattles, although some are born without one or both. The Kune Kune is also a slow growing pig. They take their time to mature and will not be full grown until 12 to 18 months.

Kune Kune pigs are extremely docile and have friendly personalities. They absolutely LOVE BELLY RUBS!!!

We absolutely adore our Kune Kune pigs and have found them to be extremely intelligent and playful. We believe they are a great addition to small farms and homesteads.
